On February 24, 2011, the USCIS Office of Public Engagement hosted it's quarterly national stakeholder meeting, so that participants may raise issues regarding agency operations and to aid the agency in identifying systemic issues.
On February 23, 2011, the USCIS Service Center Operations Directorate hosted an engagement with AILA representatives.
On February 18, 2011, the USCIS Field Operations Directorate and the Office of Public Engagement invited interested parties to participate in a teleconference and webinar to review changes to the revised N-648 (Medical Certification for Disability Exceptions) form and instructions.
On February 9, 2011, the USCIS Field Operations Directorate and Office of Public Engagement held a teleconference to provide families of paroled Haitian orphans with information about filing for lawful permanent resident status (LPR).
On January 26, 2011, the USCIS Los Angeles Asylum Office (ZLA) hosted an engagement with AILA representatives in Anaheim, California.
On January 29, 2011, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Office of Public Engagement invited stakeholders to "Enlace," a free Spanish-language only event where USCIS shared agency updates, a presentation titled "How Do I Help My Relative Become a Permanent Resident in the United States?", and had an open forum segment to respond to questions.
On October 20, 2010, the Office of Public Engagement and the Administrative Appeals Office (AAO) invited stakeholders to participate in the first ever national engagement with the AAO. This was an opportunity to discuss the precedent decision process and current AAO case processing.
On February 2, 2011, USCIS Director Alejandro Mayorkas and the Office of Public Engagement invited stakeholders to attend a national engagement session to discuss issues of importance to the agency and its stakeholders.
On November 19, 2010, the USCIS International Operations Division hosted an engagement with AILA representatives to discuss issues related to the adjudication and processing of refugee/asylee applications, international adoptions, waivers of inadmissibility, and humanitarian parole.
On December 8, 2010, the USCIS Service Center Operations Directorate hosted an engagement with AILA representatives. USCIS discussed issues related to the interaction between USCIS and the Kentucky Consular Center, H-1B applications and motions to reopen.
